Dear FleetServ Customers,
First and foremost, our thoughts are with all those who are impacted by the COVID-19 virus. Our hearts go out to those who are already ill and to their loved ones. We would also like to thank all the first responders and healthcare professionals for their efforts to help us all overcome this crisis.
We know things are changing rapidly and there is a lot of uncertainty, especially being located in California, where there is a “Shelter in Place” order by our Governor.
After careful and thoughtful review of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Guidelines for “Critical Essential Infrastructure” (see additional information here), we have determined our products and services are “essential” to, not only the transportation industry, who is moving our crucial goods, but also to our first responders, municipal and community services. We want to reassure all our customers and partners that we are still here and ready to help in any way necessary.
We have taken specific steps to ensure we can provide the services our customers require in order to keep essential goods and services moving for us all:
• We are following all State and Federal recommended COVID-19 safety precautions and have implemented additional safety guidelines for our employees.
• Starting today, we are asking only essential staff report to our workplace. These staff members have been asked to keep a safe distance from one another and to proactively take steps to maintain their safety and the safety of those around them.
• We are continuing to monitor all State and Federal sources for any updates that would require us to make changes to our updated procedures.
